HELP with High Standard Shotgun
I have just come up with an older High Standard Model 200 Supermatic Deulux shotgun in 12 gauge. The gun has seen its share of use, and I would like to have it as a truck gun just to have along. My problem is with the left side cartridge stop. The lip is chipped off and I have a new one on order. My question is, how do I remove the screw that holds the cartridge stop in place. The schematic shows a retaining clip that goes into the screw. I have inspected the screw and it does have a hole visible in its shaft that can be seen through the slot in the receiver. I do not see any sign of the retaining clip. I have tried to unscrew the screw and it moves freely but it will not come out. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Also any other input on these old H/S autos would be appreciated!
Thanks a million,
