Not me, but Ron Dague, one of Sinclair International's product specialists shoots at my club's HP matches with a Remington 700 in 223 and he uses one of those. He attaches his rear sight (a Centra with a Weaver base) to the rear Weaver base and uses the front base to clip the barrel's mirage band.
When the time comes to slap on the scope for any sight matches or for testing loads, he merely removes the rear sight and clamps on the scope.
The stripper clip slot works flawlessly.
