SpecialEd,

EVERY time that I see your comment about genius/stupidity, I'm reminded of a sign that used to hang in Building 4 at USAMPS, Ft Gordon, GA. =

"Nothing can be made idiot-proof because idiots are so ingenious."

yours, sw

Yep. Hence the "Me too" after your first post. Strikes me as a troll or phish.

But I have been wrong once or twice in my life. But just once or twice.

I remember, you were wrong that one time you thought you were wrong but turned out you were right all along!

It maybe odd to do this in the open-forum but maybe a little ED-umacation is in order, or at least I can show you how I think as the last time I jumped on a spammer after only one post, I was called out for it. (in the end I was right).

Right off the bat the wording of this post seems off. (I expect the next line to read "I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance!") I immediately think ESL. So I look at the location the poster claims, in this case Georgia. Yes I could make lots of cracks about Georgia and ESL but I'll pass.

Not everyone who joins the forum posts an introduction, many just start chiming in on threads already in progress. This person claims in their profile to be a veteran. When someone does make an introductory post and they are a veteran, how often do they NOT reference their service, which branch, which location, etc.,? Also no mention of their particular shooting or firearms interests, etc.

Taken singularly it's all circumstantial, added all together... I bet with the percentages, (at one time it was the only way to keep up with the Spammers for any of you who remember those dark days.).

Then there's one final piece of evidence which I admit you don't have access to but I do. This person from Georgia is posting from an IP in India.

Maybe I'm wrong and allicebell will come back with a reasonable explanation and I'll look like an overzealous jerk. Again I will go with the percentages.

Thus endeth the lesson.
