I see it has been a very long time since there has been any posts. I don't know if this is still the thread to post in when one has information to post for hoefully feedback on their rifle.
I just pickedup a Fed Ord with the serial number #1011. This is what it has inside according to the seller. I an waiting for it to be shipped and for it to go to 10 day jail here as it is at this time. So I am just going off what he posted to the thread on it.

Rear Sight - DRC

Trigger - 7267030 66118 (hammer not given, will have to wait to take possession to see)

Barrel - HR 7790190 9-62 AF

Op - Rod 7267064 hRA

Bolt - 7790185 HRT
A03

Did Fed Ord start their S/N's off at 001, 002, 003 or maybe 1000,1001, 1002, 1003.
I know this is a very early rifle, but I think I read that the first 50 were of Sub quality forgings and they needed to be shipped back out to be hardened. If anyone can address that I would appreciate it...
