SA Super Match Quality

I'm sure this has been discussed to death and than some, but searching tens of thousads of posts is just...well....SUCKY. So I was just wondering what the quality of the Springfield Armory super match was compared to that of an equally costing rifle from Fulton, Smith, etc...

Dale Rader at Springfield Armory, Inc. Custom Shop knows the M14/M1A and he builds a Super Match M1A as good as the best of the master M14 gunsmiths. Does he build every Super Match M1A at Springfield Armory, Inc.? Honestly, I don't know.

In the 1980s Springfield Armory, Inc. had Glenn Nelson building Super Match M1A rifles. Those 1980s Super March M1A rifles are awesome. Karl Maunz spoke very highly of Glenn Nelson when I interviewed him. That's saying something. Karl Maunz built a Maunz Match M14 for David "D.I." Boyd, arguably the best M14 competition shooter ever.

Ron Smith, Clint McKee, Ted Brown, Tim Strait, Geoffrey Corn, David Ferrante, Ronnie Morris, Clint Fowler and Jon Tank can all build you a match grade M14/M1A you can be happy with.

I have a mid-80s National Match, will put 3 rounds of aussie ammo in the same .35 hole at 25 yards with iron sights in prone with sling

They're pretty good, but i don't think they are more of a cookbook recipe gun rather than a custom build you might get from one of the small shops. Mine had some minor issues (rear sight could have been fitted better and the gas system wasn't well done).
