Mine was a woodless Dane and it has an "in the white" 9/43 barrel.

Tokk my friend to the South Store today and bought SA# 1807160, a rack grade with a HR barrel that went 1 1/2 on the muzzle & 2 in the throat , any one got an idea when it was cast?

Shame on you! Your Springfield Armory receiver was not cast. It was forged in August of 1943. SA Inc. and CAI after market receivers are cast.
