Well, this is my Inland M1 Carbine. Because all of our Carbine here in holland where sold to civilians by the goverment, it's hard to find a 100% original Carbine. For example, all parts on my Carbine are mint, but it's a real mix master ! BTW, this is the replacement for the Irwin Petersen I blew up 2 years ago !

Greets,

Roger

I sold off all my carbines years ago. I had some real goodies. Primer was one of 25 mfg Quality Q-EX7. Had Inland's XA, XB, XC, should have took photos. I think you can remember when there was soooo many (ton & tons) of carbines and accessories on show tables, I really did not think of taking any photos of my collectibles. Who cared except other collectors in those days? I wish now that I did, instead of just documenting parts and codes. That was the essential necessity in those days as there were "no" books out in print. Many were copied from club files and assumed this is right, and the only way it was done. These years were from 1960 to date. Yep, we have been around awhile.

Isn't that some kind of major sin or atleast heresy? Time to start re-collecting!

Heres my Dads Inland with a 12-43 barrel, shes correct except for a few parts that got replaced in post war rebuilds. Namely the RIA front sight, barrel band with a bayonet lug, flip type safety, and milled adjustable rear sight. This one was inherited by my Dad after my Grandfather passed away in 1986. He got thru the NRA back in the Fifties.

Weather getting better, works slowing down. Got plenty of Carbines to go through as time allows. Heres my I.P. project from the winter and a Nice 1011xxx Winchester I took down this afternoon. Parts/marking questions to follow.
