How To Build Your Own SA (Post-War M1 Carbine)
For those who would like to venture into building their own Springfield Armory Arsenal (SA marked parts) for the M1 Carbine, for their collection, or a great USGI shooter. I will be posting the required parts, when I find them, (from time to time), for those to consider the purchasing of, in order to initiate this worthy project. Others may join in as well, if they wish to?
Constructive comments, and questions are welcomed. Keep in mind, there are no SA experts here, so be polite.
To start your SA project, you will need a USGI receiver (Inland, Underwood, Rock-Ola, Saginaw, IBM, NPM,... ect, and a "legit" SA marked 1950's barrel. Be careful, "bogus" SA Barrels are out there. (If you are not sure, post a photo or link to the barrel). All of Springfield Armory's rebuilding M1 Carbine parts (to my knowledge) were marked SA. If you have questions, please post them, or...if you wish....you may PM me, and I will add the question to this post for you, for others input.
Below is a part link. This will be an on-going thread.
Additional: Anyone who has some SA M1 Carbine parts they wish to sell, place them in the Buy-Sell Trade Forum Here. Please do not post them here as they will be deleted.
Note: To answer questions received....Yes, Springfield Armory (SA) did install these type 3 bayonet lugs on their SA rebuilds.

At the request of several members, I have restored this post to it's sticky status, and have split off the comments into their own thread. I am now locking this thread down, yet leaving it as a sticky for member reference.
