Stock Cartouche

Someone on Jouster asked about a cartouche that is FAT 73 with a star in a box on a pot belly stock. Somebody else replied that this was an Italian marking from Terni. I always thought these were Korean M2 stocks. Does any one here know for sure?

Those FAT markings are from the arsenal at Tierni Italy. A lot of those stocks were imported.
