High Standard question (picture)

I just got this pistol today. Being I don't know anything about High Standards pistols I was hoping some of you could tell me about it. From what I can tell you about it is a Model 106 Supermatic Citation 7 1/4 barrel Military Model SS# 18750XX. It came with 1 mag and the box. The pistol its self is like new. Questions are around what year it may have been made, maybe how much it is worth ? and a little history on it. Oh ya I think I did good only pay $75.oo for it. :D

He was referring to the Blue Book price of $575.00 for it. It would also appear to have been made between 1965 and 1968, according to the Blue Book.

Good Deal

Or steal?
Just use the standard 22lr and you'll be shooting tiny little groups.
As already stated the 106 is late 60's and Hamden made, very desirable to collectors of Hi-Standards
What does the magazine look like?

Don't cry Mike be happy for me. Kevin I'm not planing on celling it. I'm going to keep it in my collection an if I were to sell it it would cost way to much to get anther one after I kick myself for selling it.

I cannot get the pictures you posted to load?
Green follower and red plastic floor plate are the originals I think. My 107 1.9 million came with a mag such as that.

The one that came with it has I green follower an a metal floor plate. It came from a older guy in hes 70's he said he only shot it a little. So I would think its the one that came with it.
