friends,

i've had GREAT luck w/posting "WTB" ads here, as we have GREAT members!

i suddenly have "the hots for" a semi-auto or pump rifle in .400 BROWN-WHELEN IMPROVED caliber & NOBODY makes a stock rifle in this caliber. = .411 bullet on a "blown out" 30.06 case.

this gives you: 59grains of RL-15 behind a 400grain RN at 2027FPS yields over 4,000 pounds of muzzle energy!

a .270/'06/.35whelen rifle with a "shot out"barrel/bad wood/etc. is FINE, as it will be replaced/refinished.

note: as i'm a southpaw, a lefthand rifle would be NICE but not necessary.
