| Fraud in the March issue of GUNS magazine!
On page 38, J. B. Wood reviews the ScottWerx kit that's supposed to make your mill-run Ruger 10/22 look like a Thompson submachine gun. The picture at the top of page 39 (labeled "A") is very impressive, but it is most assuredly NOT of the ScottWerx kit. It seems to be an Auto-Ord 16" barreled semiauto Thompson. The ScottWerx kit doesn't look like that--see the pic on page 40, which IS the ScottWerx kit. Buy the $300 pimp kit if you want, but do so knowing that your gun will NOT look like the one on page 39. |

Don't you just love those editors and especially ART editors? Geoff Who remembers when some <ED> changed "gunless" to "gutless" when Chairman Jeff was discussing the F-4 pre-E model Phantom II. |

Most of the people who work at gun magazines are MAGAZINE people, not GUN people. Most have no idea which end the bullet thingy comes out of. This is people with no gun knowledge making a mistake, not "fraud". |
