What Folding Knives Do You Carry

For everyday carry I have a few folding knives I like to carry. They are: Benchmade AFCK (1995), still my favorite
Sebenza
Benchmade Doug Ritter
Spyderco Mini Dyad (in my mission wallet)
Kershaw Ken Onion Scallion
I carry these as mood dictates.

I recently switched to a Harsey T2 ranger and retired my Microtech SOCOM Elite auto. I had a Large Classic Sebenza, but the cost of the piece made me nervous about loss, so I didn't carry it much and sold it. I'm getting the itch for another BM Stryker auto, since I gave my old one to a friend going over to the Sandbox.
I'll bet most of us here could fill a room with all the blades we try on for size before finding the one that fits.
Kbar, now that I think of it, it IS a mood thing, isn't it?

I also have a Microtech. Its the Lightfoot LLC combo edge with stonewashed blade. Its a really nice looking knife, but I forgot all about it. I'll have to put it in my daily lineup. "LVMPDawg", thanks for reminding me.

Kbar,
I too carry a Benchmade AFCK. Mine is one of the newer ones with the oval hole and axis lock. Mine is D2 steel as well. Great knife.

"Magnumtc" The AFCK's of that time period were ATS-34. I like the blade because I can put it in my "Lansky" sharpener (use 20 degree setting) and have it shaving sharp within a few minutes. I hear the D2's are really nice, and lots of people prefer it to ATS-34.

D2 steel is fine stuff, however, their older knives had liner locks which I am partial to. They seemed to have fixed a nonexistent problem with the Axis lock (liners never failed me). It looks strong enough, but I can't get used to it.

Kbar, agree with you on the older designs. I like the look of the older AFCK better than the new. I always wanted one, but hesitated and they changed to the axis lock. ATS-34 is a fine choice. I have another Benchmade with ATS-34 and the combi edge. I believe the older AFCK's had titanium locks at one time. Correct me if I am wrong. Anyway, love my Benchmades!

Balisongs. Always and without fail. I like the longer blade length in a slim package, I like the ease of opening. Besides, nothing says badass like twirling the butterfly open.

I have several knives which I rotate regularly through as my every day carry knife. I like to carry custom made knives and mostly carry those made by Ernie Emerson, Bob Terzuola and The Strider Guys.

Of late I have been carrying my Strider SMF more often than not.
