"Top Shot" on the History Channel

http://www.history.com/shows/top-shot

The first season of "Top Shot" has finished airing on the History Channel and the casting call is now open for the second season.

Contestants will try to hit various targets with firearms and other historical ranged weapons.

In the first season, long bows, slingshots and thrown knives all were featured as well as guns of the last century or so. Everything from standard style range shots to steel targets to "carnival trick shots" were featured.

Casting application info is online at:

Re: "Top Shot" on the History Channel

I watched the entire first season. It had its high points and low points.

On another forum, it was followed and discussed at great length, episode by episode. Most agreed that the finale episode was the best, and that the best four contestants ended up in the final, though many thought Kelly had earned the right to be in the final four as well.

Adam and the blank-shooting cowboy (Denny?) were almost universally disliked.
