A few days ago the Chief Range Officer of my club (Mid-Carolina Rifle Club) came by my house a a couple of boxes of misc. dies, brass, and loaded ammo. I thought that some of you might be interested in a set of dies that I was able to talk him out of. I had to have them not only because of the cartridge they are for which is .22 Savage High Power, but they appear to be brand new, never used. The dies are adjusted and set using the included "spanner" wrenches. The last mention that I can find of this company is in an issue of GUNS magazine in 1963. The company was the E.C. Herkner Co. located at 4407 Plum St. in Boise, Idaho. This company also manufactured rings, bases, and appears to have also manufactured open sights for various rifles that were highly regarded at the time. Now I have to find an affordable rifle chambered in .22 Savage HP.
