Headstamp on Corbon?

I just bought a box of Corbon .357 Magnum. The headstamp says "R-P 357 Magnum". Is this correct, or did somebody pull a fast one and put Remington ammo in a Corbon box?

Thanks,
Glenn

I don't remember who but (don't quote me) I think Dick's Sports won't take back any ammo for this reason. Someone could put something back in the box that looks like the real thing. On the other hand maybe Cor-Bon may have used R-P brass.

If purchased from a reliable dealer, it should be Cor Bon.

The company does have a lot of it's brass headstamped Cor Bon, but not all. I have at least 3 or 4 calibers with Winchester, Remington, etc headstamps and they came direct from CB.

I emailed Corbon last night. They replied back this afternoon and said that they do sometimes use RP and WW brass.

I'm really impressed at their customer service. I emailed them on a Saturday night, and they replied back on a Sunday afternoon!

I have purchased Cor bon 308 168 hpbt in the past, for comparison(s), and in fact, every time, it was commercial Winny .308 brass. No complaints here !

Also, I purchased some "Glaser Blue Safety Slugs" about 5 years ago in .40 S & W and they were Remington Peters (R P) brass.
Glaser is a subsidiary of Cor Bon ? They have the same Sturgis SD address.

I don't know who mfgrs Cor bon headstamped brass. Anybody ...?

Mostly Starline

They have always bought brass- usually primed- from both Remington and Winchester. To my knowledge there hasn't been any Federal brass from CB but that doesn't mean there isn't.
