I am looking for any info. I can get! I am going to start handloading 40 Super so I need some idea of where to start . I was planning on starting from 400 Corbon load data if I couldn't find any data for the super.
I believe a guy named "blusteel" was asking... I wondered if this thread would help him....

Recently, cleaning out some of my filing cabinets, a light green die box and what appeared to be two 1911 variant barrels lay on the bottom. "Oh yea !" I had forgotten about the late Triton multi hybrid .40 Super.
The trouble is there's only about 90 empties to deal with.
Charles or F.C. ..... I have the Tony Rumore Triton reload data sheets. What I'd like to ask, you already know the question, OK to use the Star___ .45 Win Mag or Winchester's .45 mag brass trimmed accordingly .989 for loads in the MID RANGE of previously mentioned data? Redding dies with roll crimp and CH4 Tool and Die cannelure tool are in the mix too as well as 5.8'' Bar Sto ported bull govt. and an STI factory 5.4'' bull. Fed 150's OK ? You , if you wish, can disclaim a bit by responding as ie "I would, but with caution", if applicapable.
I do remember how much fun I had blasting those things ! They're certainly not an every day combo! Irv fit the thing PERFECTLY to the slide, it was a dead eye. It took a while to get used to the high db blast ! The recoil was really negligable, it was the BLAST that initially gave me a flinch until I doubled up on the ear protection. Holy Smokes, those HI VEL 135 's bolted out of that thing averaging, if memory serves accurately, about 1,750 and I even have some recorded 1,830's.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
